Crypto Geared Ordinary Crypto Cycle Co. England 1892 This is one of the last high wheel style bicycles. It employs a 44" drive wheel geared up to 60". The Crypto Gear is a mechanism utilizing a “sun and planet” gear, the forerunner of the modern 3 speed, which is built into the front hub. This cycle was equipped with pneumatic tires and was one of the last of the high wheel style bikes.
