People of Old Spokes Home

The Old Spokes Home team is a bunch of hard working, bike loving people. We are always looking out for enthusiastic bike lovers to join us. If you are interested in joining our crew at the Old Spokes Home, please send your resume to this e-mail address.

Glenn Eames       Owner and founder, bicycle archeologist. Glenn has been seriously “over the top” with bicycles for more than 30 years. A resume of cycle activities includes a two year round-the-world tour via bicycle, a year as a city bicycle messenger in San Fran, 15 years as Service Manager at a local bike shop here in Burlington, VT, 25 years of collecting and research into the origins of bicycle history and development, numerous affiliations with local bicycle advocacy initiatives and organizations, and Custodian of the Decade!
Jeremy Munson       Jeremy is our resident conspiracy theorist and he doesn't know how he feels about having his name and picture in cyberspace. Jeremy is pictured with his totally custom Indy Fab. Eno hub, BMX cog, Surly Cross Check fork, 26 inch rear, 700c front. Jeremy is the king of the Mary bar and Ergo grips. At the Old Spokes Home he is Blogger and Chief.
Michael McDonald       Mike joined the Old Spokes Home a few years ago and now he returns after a year long sabbatical in Michigan. Mike returns with renewed old bike zeal, more bikes, and longer hair. Catch Mike flying through town in his new pink helmet.
Rob Voland       You may see Rob make a midnight, full moon, departure from Burlington on a classic Rudge Tourist 3 speed, and in the same light summitt Mount Mansfield at 3am. Is that an 1890's era "scorcher" your upon or a contemporary creation? Bicycles being a passion , never a fashion. Now listen closely, and you're certain to hear a hint of Hendrix or perhaps Page when this man weaves his own style of rythm on guitar.
Jason Oakley       Here's the man who drew the Jason/Dixon line, and rode it end to end. Catch him today on his super low park tool blue fixie and tomorrow on his 24" BMX Cruiser. He'll wrangle a wrench, smoke the singletrack, and take a tour on his Casserole before the sun sets. Be on the look out for this Southern Gent!
