Freedom is a concept foriegn to the settled and civilized. Nations, borders, corporations only know harsh structure, stagnation, and forced hierarchy. Why do we cling to the idea of freedom at this late hour? I say the nomad is still in us somewhere, repressed, but looking for a way out. We humans were wanderers for much longer than this social experiment of rising and falling empires has played out.

The nomad has the clear vision to discern things in this life of significance. His gods live with him in the field. Food, water, air, fire, shelter, and of course, his mount. Luckily these things can still be found in abundance. What's left but to find a mount worthy of deification and wander while you still can?
