A bike park in Burlington?

A group has formed to advocate for, construct, and maintain a bike park in Burlington's Old North End and they need your support!

What is a bike park?

Bike parks are dedicated recreation facilities that include features such as purpose-built trails, pump tracks, flow trails, jumps and progressive skills courses for all ages and abilities.

What will that mean for Burlington?

The Burlington Bike Park is a proposed public space in the Old North End. The vision is to turn the old Burlington Landfill (off the 127 bike path) into a recreation area for people of all ages to gather and have fun on their bikes, away from traffic. The park will have a comprehensive vision for design, construction, maintenance and programming to insure the long-term sustainability as a community recreation facility. This will be a safe place for parents to bring their children to gain confidence, be healthy and get away from their screens.
